Gorgeous Phidippus ardens 10 mm

These are gorgeous young Phidippus ardens
They are being sold as unsexed due to the males turning scarlet red late in their development. 
Females turn scarlet red with a black stripe down their abdomen, until the males turn  red, they look identical to the females  some females can turn more orangey .
They have been captive bred by us.
They left the nest on the 25/10/24
They are 10 mm 
They are feeding very well on green and blue bottle flies. 
Ardens are a chunky species, and are easy to care for.
They are a very social and friendly species.
And very chilled  but love to explore. 
Please remember to provide a bright white led light directly above the enclosure for their wellbeing.
