Gorgeous Hyllus semicupreus Female

This listing is for a Female Hyllus semicupreus, from 2 different pairings which left the nest on the 5/24 & . 6/24
They have been captive bred by us.
Pics shown are of one of the mums.
Adult males are black and metallic gold.
Hyllus semicupreus are one of the smallest of the Hyllus species, but unlike Hyllus diardi and other Hyllus species , semicupreus do not require high heat and humidity, and can be kept like most other jumpers.
We keep ours the same temperature and humidity as our Phidippus regius.
They are a delightful jumper, and very much over looked, although quite quick, they do however slow down with maturity, and do like being handled.
They are between 6-8mm in size.
Females usually reaching 10mm max as adults, and males 8mm.
As a small species, they only require a small enclosure, (Please see our Vision 360D Small Enclosure listed on the website) These have been specially designed and made by us for semicupreus and other small species.
PLEASE NOTE They are feeding on D Heidi fruit flies & small house flies, but once they are a little bigger in size, they will take small green bottles. When feeding green bottles, judge size of spider to the size of the fly.
