Amazing Portia labiata females

This listing is for a Portia labatia Adult female Jumping spider.
Size between 8/10 mm.
They are feeding very well on House flies & small green bottle flies
These are unbred females out of our breeding programme which we have left over.
They require a small enclosure (please check out our Vision 360D Small enclosure, we we have designed and made especially for  Portia and other small species).
They thrive best in a live planted set up, and require a bright white LED light for hunting and wellbeing. 
The are unlike any other Jumper and move extremely slow when hunting on stilt like legs, thinking out the best approach and planning out their attack. The strike is fast,  you may want to video it and play it back in slow mo 🤣
Portia labatia, are  the most intelligent spiders on the planet. (As seen on the David Attenborough documentary)

Yes you read it right, a spider 🕷 eating Jumping spider.
They are a  relatively new species to the UK hobby, with only 2 breeders currently breeding them. They are absolutely fascinating to watch, and little darlings to photograph, and also enjoy being handled
We feed our Portia adults flies (House flies & small green bottles) as we have found they can thrive very well without spiders in their diet, and flies are less complex to feed.
Spiders are most certainly Portias favourite and natural food after all being called The Spider Eating Spider, and and will also have a big menu of prey in the wild, but  the can survive on just flies. 
Portia are one of of not the most fascinating of the Jumping spider species.
